The location of the hotel can view the Matterhorn. The property is very modern and all furniture and facilities are very updated and modern. Staffs are friendly. Location is just next to the cable car station and shuttle bus station.

Amazing Hotel

The hotel is amazing. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Easy walk into town. The staff is extremely helpful and are great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Cozy, boutique-ish hotel with great breakfast offering. Has a heating pool with bubbles, sauna, steam room, solar/infra, etc. This hotel is separated into three buildings, building C has the best suites and is the only one with rooms that have a complete, unblocked view of the Matterhorn. Building A (main) one has the gondola tower blocking, so book with that in mind. The hotel location is very close to the Matterhorn gondola station, basically touching it. Hence, this means it's a bit out of the way from the Gornergrat and Zermatt train stations.

This property is wonderful! Staff is wonderful! No air conditioning in summer. Directions from Expedia from train station to the hotel is NOT correct if you plan on walking from train station to hotel. My advice… call the hotel and have them shuttle you from train station to hotel. It’s a free shuttle to and from hotel. Wonderful stay! Absolutely incredible view of the Matterhorn.

The Spa room had perfect view of the Mattherhorn. The bathroom was huge and the mattress was the best! Even the sofabed mattress was extremley comfortable. Enjoyed sitting out at the deck. The staff was very friendly and definitely like to come back.

Amazing hotel! From being welcomed after 30 hours of travel with a glass of white wine, to the friendly breakfast staff, to helping me cobble together a nourishing dinner after a relaxing spa service…the staff at this hotel truly set it apart! And the rooms! I slept with all the windows and the patio door open just gazing at the Matterhorn until I fell asleep. And the spa! Really a wonderful steam room, sauna, and pool. The only “better if” was if other people would read the rules, especially regarding children in the spa area. Specifically, regarding unattended children I felt responsible to watch to ensure their safety as well as children disturbing the peace of the spa area.

The Matterhorn suite has a unique view of Matterhorn. It frames the Matterhorn in the cable car ring. We saw the Golden Matterhorn right at the balcony of our room. The hotel is right next to the cable car of Glacier Paradise. Overall a very satisfying experience for me and my family.

My son and I had an amazing 19 days at the hotel and every day was perfect. The staff took such good care of us. They were all very friendly and helpful and fun. The room was exceptional. This is a very good hotel.Immaculately clean, new, modern, bright. Very good spa facility. Staff are friendly and ready to help when required. Excellent buffet breakfast. Reasons this hotel gets a vey good overall instead of excellent is lack of coat hooks in the room, no air circulation, only patio door opens, no other windows open, couldn’t sleep on bed, may have been too hot, may have been the bed, not sure! Slept on the sofa next to open patio door all night. The hotel staff did try to accommodate with different pillows and blankets but in this case the sofa seemed to be the better option. Expedia advertise this particular room as air conditioned, the hotels own website does not, i can confirm the room is not air conditioned.

We loved everything about our stay here at Matterhorn Focus! The room was impeccable and the amenities were fantastic. We loved waking up to the mountain views from the floor to ceiling windows. It was nice that the windows were one-way so we can see out but no one can see in. The spa area was amazing and the sauna/steam room after a cold day was just the perfect ending. This hotel is directly next to the main attraction in Zermatt so it was very convenient for us to just step out and walk there. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait for the next time we come to visit!
