Beautiful hotel with gorgeous holiday decorations

We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. We had 4 rooms which were nice. There were lots of Christmas activities going on. Our dinner at the West Baden resort was wonderful. Both hotels are very nice, but I would recommend the French Lick Hotel if you have kids along.

Maintenance good. Room iffy

Good except out room only had 1vanity light. The other had no bulb. Called and maintenance came right away but did not work at all. Broke i guess. Then bulb in bedside lamp out also.. Maintenance came right away and replaced.

Nice little get away

We came down to watch Hank jr. Drink beer and gamble. It was a nice overnight get away. We rode a train, Won some (gas)money, and ate late, slept like babies. I would stay here again. It was a nice atmosphere.

Beautiful and Peaceful

My friend and I just needed a get away. What a perfect escape.The rooms were very comfortable and the beds provided a wonderful night sleep. We took a vigorous hike and the grounds are great. I highly recommend French Lick Resort!

Hotel room was pretty standard...high ceilings made it feel bigger, but nothing too noteworthy. Bathroom was a little cramped with only a standing shower and one sink. The hotel grounds were beautiful.

Young at Heart

Extremely pleasurable experience,excellent dining with very friendly and attentive wait staff,spacious room, many activities available including bowling and a casino. The Young at Heart package was a bonus! We had a great time! Already planning our next visit .

What a shame

Very disappointed in the service and price of rooms for the size/what it actually featured. I expect a higher level of quality and attentiveness when I'm paying even close to $200 for a room on a resort!

The French Lick Hotel life!

Very relaxing time for the both of us. Rockers on the veranda. Lady brought water to us because it was a warm day, but cool on the veranda. Loved walking the halls, viewing the nostalgic pictures, and the rear gounds visiting the historical mineral pools. Lost at the casino, but hey, what's new. Thank you for the great day.

Beautiful and Historical

Quite a surprise, it being in the middle of nowhere. Lovely hotel with historical charm. Food options were good, and there is a casino for those who like to take chances on winning. Easy to walk around, and there is a trolley to take you to the West Baden hotel, which is a must see.

Relaxing weekend

The hotel was great! Great atmosphere, nice historical place to stay and sight see. Service was First class, as was the dining experience at the steak house. Enjoyed every minute.

We came to see a concert and booked a room too. Loved being entertained and having a room to crash in at the same place. Rooms were very nice and had no worries walking barefoot in our room. Breakfast was great!
