The resort fee seems a little silly since it’s not actually a resort- it’s a great hotel but resort? In Darien? A stretch. But otherwise I love the place and stay there every time I’m visiting my family.

The rooms are comfortable, with the riverfront side giving you a nice balcony and view. These rooms have very nice open walk in showers with multiple sprays. The staff is very courteous and helpful and the whole place feels classy without being stuffy. Brunswick is about a 20 minute drive away, 35 or so for St Simons. A nice resort without having to pay resort prices.

Beautiful view of the river! The restaurant had a great breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed having an appetizer at the bar overlooking the river. Very clean, and a comfortable bed.

Beautiful Hotel

The hotel is beautiful and is one I recommend for a couple that wants to escape the hustle of the city. The Gumbo was amazing!!

Staff ensured we were well taken care of at check in and while we walked the premises the following morning. They offered glasses of champagne when we checked in and also offered us cups of to-go coffee after the restaurant had closed in the morning.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The area around the hotel was nice as well. The restaurant was convenient but the food was not very good. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. We were not told about a $25 credit for each day of our stay. I found out about that when I got an Expedia email on our 2nd day. The bed was hard and the room was hot. We did enjoy the shower. We will not stay here again.

Amenities were fantastic and the service was A . The spa and gym added a nice touch. Not to mention getting to walk out on your balcony and overlook the river. I would definitely stay here again!
