Clean bedding, spacious room. The bad: breakfast is ok if you like Indian or salad, but cereals, bread and Western options were limited. Room was not clean: hair on floor, old cobwebs in corners, footprints on the glass. Air conditioner sounded like an old diesel engine, even when mine was off, coming from the room next door, disrupting sleep. The ugly: the views of ‘sea’ and ‘mountain’ in the photos on Expedia are highly misleading. The pool overlooks a mess of old building backs and a smelly clogged up river, the other side has views of a low hill spoiled by very noisy 4 lane road. For the first time in 30 years of frequent travel, I checked out a day early.
