I really enjoyed my stay at this historic hotel. The room was clean, and the property was well-kept and full of charm. It was nice to experience a hotel with so much history while still being well maintained. Overall, a pleasant stay, and I would recommend it to others!

Great for solo travelers as there's a lot to do at the Hotel! Would definitely recommend spending time at the pool and at all the bars as well as the diner. Also went to the bowling alley there and had a blast.

If you love over the top, bougie decor and fabulous customer service The Lafayatte is a must stay at hotel!! We had a girls weekend, had so much fun and the ambiance is just beyond amazing!! You can spend an entire vacation in the hotel with the different restaurants, bars, bowling, pool etc!! We are going to make it an annual trip!!

We love the La Fayette and this was our second time there. The property is gorgeous and unique, and so are the rooms. So many things to do and see ee, and the restaurants/bars are so wonderful to spend time in. Highly recommend.

Staff was excellent bars were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. whole vibe just extraordinary with the decor. Excellent vibes going on at this place. Highly recommended Friday Saturday night spending the whole day at the pool both days. I know San Diego has a lot to offer, but don’t miss out on this hotel on the weekends. Lots of fun Beautiful highly recommend going in the jazz bar when there’s a venue it’s like out of the movies.

Very helpful and attentive staff! My only complaint was that there wa solid construction going on outside that woke us up very early. I’m not counting it against the hotel since it’s out of there control but a heads up would’ve been nice. Awesome stay! Would recommend to any friend group or couple.
