Great old hotel with a neat history.
Loved the old elevator and roof top bar with views of the city.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Restaurant also good.
Hotel also in a good area for tourism.
Clean rooms and super cute themes/ I love the refinished look to a historical building. Super nice rooms and cute aesthetics. The cafe was amazing, had the beach French omelette and hazelnut cappuccino I’ve ever tried. On the pricey side for rooms but worth it.
I loved my stay here! The room was perfect, the staff was so nice and welcoming and the location was perfect for the night life. I also loved the complimentary candy in the lobby, it was my favorite and such a cute little touch! I would definitely stay here again.
The cutest hotel for my group’s stay! We enjoyed all of the amenities. Room was clean and well keep and the staff was super friendly! I would definitely stay here again when visiting SD!
Super cute European style hotel in a great location. Had a small bump as our sofa bed would not open up, but the staff went above & beyond to make up for it. Great customer service! Shout out to Kimberly for making it all happen!
Great place to stay as it’s close to many great locations. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I do wish the mini fridge was not full of amenities to buy and instead be empty for you to put any water or perishables while on your trip.

Disliked: Staff & service
Room was great but the restaurant there was not the best. Did not have a pleasant experience, waiter sat us down, but didn’t come back to check on us. Other guest came before us and got served right away. He might of forgot about us, but when he finally came back to our table not even a sorry for the wait or anything.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel is ascetically pleasing and the staff was friendly and willing to help however the rooms are the elevators weren’t working and the AC unit in the room was extremely loud
A unique, charming, older hotel with a great tradition in San Diego. Built in 1913, the hotel has managed to maintain a simple elegance, not often found in newer hotels. Centrally located as well to the Gaslamp District. Loved it!
This hotel is incredibly charming and cozy! We stayed for a night to see a concert at Petco Park, and it was the perfect walking distance. The hotel was very clean and so pretty! The rooms are smaller but for what we needed it for, it was perfect! The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. The attached café is beautiful and has FANTASTIC breakfast! If we stayed in Gaslamp again, i will be back!
