This is a great hotel and restaurant. The rooms are comfortable in the bed great. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The staff is excellent from the front desk to the folks in the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant and the meals were excellent. This hotel and restaurant are keepers. We will be back! And by the way, Gisela the owner is extremely nice and helpful.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was very good and we very much appreciated the minibar stocked with free water, soda and beer. Plus the location is central. We loved it.

Very nice hotel with lots of history. Clean, quiet, and nicely renovated. Very kind staff who were able to answer all our questions and take care of all our needs. Breakfast was outstanding in their beautiful restaurant dinning room. We were very happy with our stay and were sad to leave. Oh, and Cold AC too.

I had a wonderful stay at the this property and was thoroughly impressed by the staff's professionalism. Despite my late arrival after hours, they thoughtfully prepared everything in advance and provided clear instructions. Everything was perfectly arranged when I arrived, and I truly appreciate their exceptional service.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Zurich! We were greeted by friendly staff who held our bags while the room was being prepped and treated to a lovely breakfast (even though we hadn't officially checked in yet). Our room was on the main level next to the staff office. The staff was courteous enough to keep the secondary door closed until we had come out of the room to minimize the noise. Complimentary coffee/espresso bar was exactly what we needed to fight off the jet lag and following morning exhaustion. Highly recommend checking out Old Crow (2 min walk away) for cocktail lovers. The place has a ton of character and makes a mean drink

Dear management of the Kindli hotel, Our stay in this charming hotel was very pleasant and we enjoyed every moment of it. The location is great, convenient and makes it easy to explore the city. We also had an excellent experience during breakfast - the restaurant offers elegant dining with a wonderful traditional vibe. The Hotel Kindli is a gem of a small hotel with an excellent staff and a superb restaurant. It is also situated in a very convenient location in Zurich. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And we would like to especially acknowledge Ramona at the front desk. She made our stay very special.

The hotel is very central and is extremely quiet and clean. The reception team are great and helpful. The breakfast is excellent - on our booking it said it was available and but it did not specify that is was included in the room rate but it was included which was a fantastic surprise as the food costs in Switzerland are very high. The buffet, juices and the options you could order were all exceptional. There was also a complementary mini bar with soft drinks and beer which was unexpected and very much appreciated. Unfortunately we were not able to try out the restaurant for an evening meal as it is closed on Sundays and was also closed on the Saturday we were there due to the Love Mobile event. Highly recommend the hotel - when we return to Zurich we will stay at Hotel Kindli again.

It's in the middle of a hill so make sure the taxi takes you to the entrance. The location is really great for walking around. There is a small park at the top of the hill. (2 min walk) with a wonderful view of the river. After that walk back down and explore all of the streets. We were only there overnight since we had to get up at 4 am to catch a flight, but it was very comfortable in room 11. We were there when the temperature was about 95F, but the room has its own air conditioner, so we were very comfortable. The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Yes, it may seem a bit expensive, but pricewise it is average and less than others. I did lots of research before choosing this hotel.

The hotel staff is amazing at communication and helping you! We had a family emergency and they were able to help accommodate the reservation to ensure my kids could still go, even with a last minute change!
