I 😘 ved the breakfast, all day coffee/tea/hot chocolate available in the lobby. The hotel is located right across the street from the Boston FBI division, so safe quiet neighborhood. It has a market basket across the street for good buys on groceries & sundry.

Location is good, close to Chelsea station for train or bus travel into Boston. The room, though spacious, was not what we wanted. We could not get a walk-in shower, but only a tub shower that offered difficulty for we older mobility challenged guests. The room was called a one-bedroom suite, but it was just a studio setup. There was inadequate lighting, with overhead light only in the kitchen area and no lamp near the sofa. The TV faced across the room to a blank wall, with both bed and sofa off to the sides at uncomfortable angles. The bathroom sink was outside the bathroom with no storage shelves or towel rack. The lights over the sink were also yellowish and not bright. The included breakfast is barely adequate, an egg dish and meat with cereal and very ordinary breads. The juice and coffee were good.

We stayed 6 nights. The hotel itself was quite good. It was very clean, rooms were large and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine too. The negative though, was the train that seems to pass every 10 minutes or so and toots its horn every time it crosses a road ( and there are many roads it crosses near the hotel). This goes on from about 5:30 AM till about midnight making it difficult to sleep. Especially for a light sleeper. Bring earplugs and you should be fine .

Great location with lots of transport options into the city. Clean and tidy hotel. Sofa probably could do with replacing but that was the only negative in the room. What really impressed me is the included breakfast was plentiful and as a gluten free traveller I had plenty of options including gluten free muffins and bread neither of which I had to ask for! Great week had in Boston for the marathon!

The pool is extremely small and the walls were covered with slime. The pool water was so dirty you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. The water wasn’t very warm either. Staff were super nice. Location is great. Rooms were average, liked the kitchen and full sized fridge.
