The staff upon check in was disinterested, hard to hear, and didn't provide a lot of information on the property. The room was beautiful but there were cobwebs in the light fixtures and deer head hanging over the fireplace. There was water damage in the drop down ceiling tiles and when brought to property's attention they entered a work order but gave no concessions due to presenting such shabby bathroom accomodations. In fact when brought to corporate attention no further offer of points or refund were mentioned. We paid a ridiculous sum of money to be confronted with ho-hum staff, a poorly cleaned room, and damaged bathroom. The response was a shrug. I am a Marriott Bojvoy member and I've been so put off by my experience at this one "luxury" property that I'll consider booking anywhere first.
The property was beautiful. The scenery outstanding. The stay was "ok" and for the money we paid, it should be a fantastic trip all around.
Also if you like firm mattresses, it'll be great for you.
We had a great stay at The Hythe. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind and helpful. The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an incredible job and cleaned thoroughly each day. Everything about our stay felt easy and enjoyable. We didn’t have a single complaint — it was a wonderful experience.
The most special hotel ever!!!! We spent our honeymoon here and it was amazing. Very clean, amazing customer service, and next to ski resorts and the towns!
We visited the Hythe for our 1 year anniversary and had the most relaxing time. We needed an escape from everyday hustle and bustle and this place was the perfect choice.
Staff is wonderful, Dinning at the Revel was very convenient especially on Thanksgiving, great food. Absolutely loved the courtesy car rides around town especially as a new tourist in vail. Staff was very informative about attractions around the hotel. Perfect stay with my family will be back!
Great spot in the Lionshead village. Outdoor pools and hot tubs, plus a great breakfast for mornings before hitting the slopes. A short walk to the slopes and easy access for ski gear storage, again a short walk to Vail mountain’s Eagle Bahn Gondola.
