The room was functional and the balcony view is lovely. The room and bathroom were not very clean though, lots of dust everywhere and there was a lot of someone else's hair in the bathroom and shower. For the price I did expect it to be better The beds were comfortable and clean though.

It was my husband's 75th birthday, and the staff and management could not have made him feel any more special. We had a King Superior room with a balcony and a mountain view. The restaurant and tavern were very welcoming, and the staff was friendly and accommodating! Would highly recommend!

The location around the hotel is beautiful and the close proximity to the state park is great. The hotel could be maintained better as it’s definitely showing its age. The room was dirty and there were large food crumbs in the floor near the bed. The vents were full of dust and the shower had hair from the previous guest(s) on the walls.

I highly recommend this hotel. Customer service was very polite, prompt and efficient with all my concerns and questions. I loved the comfort of the bed, slept and over slept but it was so worth it. Beautiful and spacious rooms. If I return to Virginia I will definitely book here. Short distance from Natural Bridge State Park, Dinosaur Kingdom II and so many hiking trails . The photo shared was taken from the Natural Bridge SP parking lot.

Staff was very nice and helpful, hotel is definitely old. Sheets in the room had stains, pillows were pretty flat, shower had black grime all over the walls. Definitely won’t rush back. We were there for a wedding and it did the job of a place to sleep. If you’re looking to do natural bridge state park it’s a little more worth it because of location. Short walk to the trail. Otherwise it’s nothing to write home about.

This place has a glorious past and it could be so much better with little effort and a little bit of maintenance. Our room (a superior double) had plaster coming off the wall. Personnel wears no uniform and show little interest in customers , so you don’t really know if they work there or are just clients hanging around until you explicitly ask. At which point they act between surprised and annoyed. Breakfast was surprisingly good, but served on tables so greasy I was expecting the dishes to slip away anytime.
