The hotel is a little hidden away, but once you make the right turn into the parking lot, it is absolutely beautiful. The views are exquisite, the bed is comfortable amenities are amazing and the breakfast was really good.

Our stay at Cherry Tree was great. Staff was wonderful. Our room on the 4th floor was clean and quiet. Bed was clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the bay was a plus as the views were beautiful. My only negative was the carpet in our room could use a shampoo or replacement. Would definitely stay here again if we're in Traverse City, again.

We stayed in the Walloon Suite and unfortunately our room was not in great condition. Several lights didn’t work at all. Know that several of the rooms do NOT have a window in them. The staff was great, friendly and accommodating but they were booked so we couldn’t switch rooms. I spend a lot of time in Traverse throughout year and keep a list of places I have stayed for future reference. Unfortunately Cherry Tree will no longer be an option. While it’s great to have a friendly staff, it’s just a very run down place now.

Good location. Great view from the balcony. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Room wasn't ready until almost 2 hours after check in time, which was odd but definitely was clean when we walked in as the floor was still drying. Fitted sheet didn't fit the bed and it was put on upside down so made us wonder if it was even changed, just was weird.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. It is apparent that like hotels these days the housekeeping staff is at a minimum. Therefore, different housekeeping approaches are in place. The days of daily room cleaning and room amenities should not be taken for granted. Our room very very clean. Thank you. The property is older but in very good condition. The breakfast and women who worked there did a FABULOUS job. The location was so convenient and the views were spectacular. Thank you Cherry Hill for a great stay.

Great option for families in the area. The private beach with its facilities plus outdoor and indoor pools were all a hit with the kids. The custodial and breakfast area staff were very helpful. The room was a bit dated, but clean and spacious.

We absolutely love this place. This is our second year staying there and looking forward to staying there next summer. Breakfast is delicious, love that they have an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs and a very nice beach area with plenty of chairs and a couple fire pits. Highly recommend this place is you have a family. Staff is do friendly and it’s very clean. Rooms are big and you have a beautiful view of the lake and gorgeous sunsets

Great staff and the hotel provided transportation to downtown for festival. Towels were very nice. The room faced the roof and was not aware there was an additional charge for resort fees but overall very good.
