Completely charming and so centrally located to everything that it was easy to pop in and out of the hotel throughout the day. I had a room on the first floor facing the street and was initially concerned that it might be noisy but it was perfectly quiet and the room was completely dark with the shutters. I also used the gym, which was completely sufficient. Lovely experience and I would definitely go back.

We had the most wonderful seven night stay at the Helvetia and Bristol last week. From the moment we entered, we were treated so kindly. The entire staff, from front desk to housekeeping to doormen to restaurant staff, were so warm, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were spacious and gorgeous, and turndown service a delight each night, with slippers laid out for us and chocolates on our pillows. The location was central to everything. Truly, there is not a single negative thing I could say - this is a magical hotel. We’ll be back!

This is an exquisite hotel with absolute luxury and simply the best breakfast buffet we had in all of Italy. We traveled from Venice to Florence and this hotel was a last splurge. It was worth the high price. The room was beautiful in the newer Bristol tower and the spa was relaxing. The best breakfast buffet with cheery staff made our last day so happy.
