Begin your experience at Rainforest Adventures St. Maarten – Rockland Estate, where you can visit the Emilio Wilson Museum and discover the history and heritage of the estate. Then board the Soualiga Sky Explorer for a scenic journey aboard two chairlifts spanning a total of 2,997 ft. Enjoy incredible Caribbean views as you make your way toward Sentry Hill, with approximately 25 minutes of scenic ascent. At the top, take in the panoramic views before getting ready for the highlight: The Flying Dutchman, the world’s steepest zipline. Secured in a chair-style harness, launch down the mountain on an exhilarating 2,800-ft (853 m) ride with a 1,050-ft (320 m) elevation drop. Allow approximately 1.5 to 3 hours for the complete experience, depending on attendance and wait times at the park. When your adventure is complete, taxis are available outside Rockland Estate to take you back to the cruise port, your hotel, or your next destination.
