We loved our stay at HMH! The room was so well put together and the atmopshere was top notch! The Ruffed Grouse was an amazing meal. I loved all the staff we encountered! Everyone was so friendly and helpful!

What tickled us was a record player and record albums for us to listen to, in our room. Classic records. Of course the bed was comfortable and the shower was just perfect. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast 2 breakfast tacos for $10, and fresh squeezed o.j. For $4. Delicious!!!!

Great location - although lots of stairs if that's an issue. The property is beautiful and within easy walking distance to downtown Highlands. The lobby and bar looked really nice, and we were looking forward to coming back from dinner and grabbing a cocktail, and just hanging out, but were told at 730pm that there was a private party and that those areas were closed off to guests. I don't think I have ever heard of closing the lobby to guests - pretty disappointing.
