We loved our stay we loved the hikes around the hotel and getting in the hot tub cooling off in the river . Breakfast was awesome, we would go back anytime.

This property is amazing. Hannah greeted us at check-in and showed us around the property and to our room. We took advantage of their onsite restaurant, Varma, it was fabulous. The hot springs right outside our rooms were a welcomed oasis after days of traveling. Highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful unique location in a valley along a river surrounded by steaming mountains. On site restaurant was fabulous with some of the dishes cooked in the hotels hot spring. Service was excellent. The facilities seemed a little run down but clean. Pool was out of service but hot pots were excellent.

Nestled into the side of a geo thermal hillside, steaming with underground activity, this hotel hit most all the marks. Comfy rooms, delicious breakfast, nearby hiking, hot tubs and sauna. Great visit here. Would love to come back some day.

The property sits along the river which is steaming due to the numerous vents in the area. The breakfast was excellent and the area is very walkable from the hotel whether your desire is to stay "in the wild" or walk in town.

A unique hotel with bedrooms and outdoor hot tub facing north so you can watch the northern lights from the hotel. At the edge of town with resteraunt and bedroom view over river and smoking hills from the local hot springs. The breakfast was amazing and staff helpful. We dined in the resteraunt a few times during our stay. The food is amazing but a little pricey. Much like all icelandic resteraunts. Some beautiful walks around the area. Would definately stay here again.

It was the most intimate and cutest lodging of all we had in Iceland. The restaurant was amazing! We had the 6 or 7 course dinner and it is the most memorable and delicious dinner in Iceland! Highly recommend it.

The surrounding area was exceptional. Within walking distance there was plenty to see. Hot tubs and the view combined made it feel very unique. This little town is not for those who want city nightlife, but for those who like to spend time outdoors
