Everything was fantastic and consistent with our prior experience at the plaza. Check-in was fast, the room was spotless, room service was quick, turn Service down was nice to have. Food offerings are a little limited after 10:30 am, but you’re in Manhattan and can step outside and go 10 feet to any number of great restaurants.

Lovely stay with incredibly spacious rooms for Manhattan and very friendly staff. And of course the most wonderful location. The most amazing touch was the hotel giving me Home Alone based gifts to take home to my daughter including a beautiful teddy which she adores. The only down side was that the walls were thin and we could hear a noisy family constantly through the wall and the slamming doors from down the corridor a lot. Our room was also by the elevators which let off a very loud noise when one arrived. This had limited impact as the hotel just full of people coming and going through the night. Overall a great stay - location, room size, staff all fantastic.

Ok so the location was ideal. However, the service was lacking. For over 2k per night I would hope that the service would match the bill. The bellman was annoyed that we needed assistance and had us push some of our own bags. Hair in the bathroom and the bed on night one. Overall it was overhyped.
