My wife and I recently celebrated a milestone birthday in Amalfi and stayed at the Anantara Convento Di Amalfi Grand Hotel. We had many hotel options, but we are so pleased that we chose the Anantara and the city of Amalfi for our stay. The location was a perfect launching point to visit the many areas of interest. It was close enough to all the restaurants, shops and sea in Amalfi, but also far enough away to enjoy a more private experience. The walk from the hotel down into the center of Amalfi was breathtaking.
The staff was wonderful and always bent over backwards to make us happy. We must give a shoutout to the pastry chef for breakfast. We really enjoyed all the special treats.
The views from the property and of the property are truly incredible. Pool was stunning with great bar service poolside. Enough removed from the center of Almafi to offer stunning views and a relaxing, serene environment but close enough to easily walk and hotel offers regular complimentary shuttles as well. Highly recommend
As an old monastery, this hotel could not have been more unique and beautiful. We also got a couples package at their spa which was amazing. An absolutely gorgeous place to honeymoon. We already want to go back!
Had a little misunderstanding in the very beginning because of a mistake by Expedia posting a wrong photo for the room originally booked. However, the hotel was able to adjust and give me the upgraded which match the photo originally booked. The breakfast was amazing and the staff and service were excellent.
3 night stay in April.
Hotel is perfect location, with stunning views of the coast. Staff were lovely, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great to be able to sit on the terrace and enjoy the views. Overall a very relaxing and comfortable stay.
We had the most amazing stay. We were blown away by how beautiful the hotel is. The location was perfect and the staff were 110%
Franceso was just amazing at looking after us. We must certainly will be back and stay longer.
Exceptional property, luxurious rooms and professional, gracious service. My daughter got sick on a holiday weekend and the staff managed to find a physician to come to the room to treat her. They went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and special for us. The room was well appointed and always cleaned or turned down in an inviting way. They have a firepit and rocking chairs out in the cloister area - which was very charming and decorated for the festive holiday season.
