Great stay. Staff were really helpful. Lots of activities. Great food, breakfast was lovely. Outdoor pool is saltwater and busy when we stayed but indoor pool was calmer and still good for kids. Great gym. Just a short walk into the town. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel with interesting architecture. Restaurants on site were very good, great service. The front desk & concierge were extremely helpful in booking transfer to Split and arranging pickup from the ferry dock coming from Venice. Looking forward to visiting again!

The staff were wonderful and helpful. The rooms and grounds were great and well taken care of. Really liked the location - short walk to town center but far enough away for private pools and beach area. A little pricey but definitely worth it! Would absolutely stay here again. Actually, can’t wait to go back!

Impressed how well this hotel has been maintained over the years. I stayed there last about 9 years ago and it still looks great. The Mulini beach and adjacent beach bar are perfect for a relaxing day at the crystal clear sea.

This was our second visit to the Lone Hotel, and once again we were not disappointed. The Hotel is immaculate, and its modern, clean-line design is impressive. We booked a Grand Double Room overlooking the the Cape Forest and pool. It was spacious, well presented, and came with a large balcony that made the stay feel even more special. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection, and every member of staff we spoke to was polite and courteous. A special mention goes to Milena ( we hope we spelt her name correctly) who worked both breakfast room and restaurant. She was always smiling, friendly and chatty a fantastic example of excellent customer service. The Lone Hotel should be proud to have her on their team. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent, and we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone planning a holiday Rovinj. For transfers from the airport we booked through Maistra Hotels and weren't disappointed.

Hotel Lone is certainly a beautiful property, surrounded by greenery and in a wonderful location in Rovinj. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but despite its official 5-star rating, I personally felt the experience was closer to that of a very good luxury 4-star hotel. For me, the main issue is the interiors. The rooms feel quite dark and would benefit from a renovation to bring them more in line with today’s 5-star standards. What I liked least was the extensive use of carpeting, from the hallways all the way into the guest rooms. In my opinion, it makes the interiors feel heavier and somewhat dated rather than fresh and sophisticated. The breakfast area could also use more attention to detail. I found the tables and overall presentation rather basic and visually underwhelming for a hotel of this category. At a 5-star property, I would expect a more refined and polished breakfast setting. That said, Hotel Lone remains a very pleasant and clean property with a beautiful location, distinctive architecture, and lovely surroundings. With a thoughtful renovation of the rooms and corridors, along with greater attention to some of the finer details, it could deliver a much more convincing contemporary 5-star
