Absolutely amazing. One of the most wonderful stays I ever had. Everything about this hotel speaks luxure from the rooms to the amenities to the staff to the views. My only regret is not staying another week or two ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
We had a marvelous stay at the Patina Osaka. The rooms were modern, chic, and clean, with well-thought-out touches throughout. Ours included a beautiful view of the Osaka Palace. It's a lovely destination to return to after a busy day of sightseeing.
This is a relatively new property with what must be the absolute best view of Osaka Castle in the city. The floor to ceiling window showcases the castle and surrounding area. Amazing! Staff is enthusiastic and professional. The Spanish restaurant seems out of place but the bar and the staff is first class.
This was a gorgeous hotel that felt very luxurious and comfortable and also had crazy amazing views of Osaka Castle. The room was big and beautiful with comfy beds. My only complaint is that I booked a room with two double beds and a twin tatami bed yet neither the hotel nor hotels.com mentioned Id be paying an additional $100 fee to actually USE the the tatami bed for my 9 yr old to sleep on.
We enjoyed a fantastic three-night stay at the beautifully decorated and perfectly located Patina Hotel. The friendly, professional staff truly make you feel at home. Our room was cozy, featuring exceptionally comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The breakfast buffet is a highlight—amazing food quality with enough variety to enjoy something new every morning. The Japanese hot dishes were outstanding! Additionally, the 25-meter pool is perfect for lap swimming and offers a breathtaking view of the castle. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again when returning to Osaka.
The staff and the room view was amazing, we would totally come back to Osaka just for the hotel. Everything was perfect and service was top tier. Totally recommended for a peaceful stay. The staff took care of us from A to C.
Directly across from the Osaka Castle which allows a mix of old culture and new. The staff is extremely pleasant and opt in for breakfast certainly worth the extra money.
The hotel design and amenities are excellent. The rooms with the castle view are beautiful. The breakfast is excellent. One of the best. However, the service in the hotel is going through some growing pains being new. Also limited restaurant choices for dinner in hotel.
We arrived at 16:30 and were escorted to the waiting area on the 20th-floor lobby for check-in. The reception appeared understaffed, with several groups waiting, which resulted in the check-in process taking over 15–20 minutes. Unfortunately, the staff seated us right next to a large, very loud group, despite there being other available tables and seats further away.
After a long journey, we were already tired, and the extended wait—coupled with being seated in such a noisy environment—felt extremely inconsiderate for a hotel of this caliber. This level of insensitivity was especially surprising for a Japanese hotel, where attention to detail and guest comfort are typically held to the highest standards.
But the room was amazing, it's generously sized, with the best view looking at Osaka Castle. The breakfast was pretty amazing. Spa, pool and gym were great.
It is important to separate loud guests though - some people are really noisy and loud at breakfast too, making it unbearable at times.
