This was a wonderful property. Clean and enjoyable. Great location with beautiful beach access. It felt as though we had a private beach. My only issue was that I booked an ocean-view room and we couldn't see the ocean unless we went out on the patio. Overall, we had a nice stay. Next time, I would prefer to actually see the ocean from my room as I have at other locations.

The pool and beach are awesome with great views from the balcony. The places to eat are great and within walking distance. Be aware that there is a $45/day resort fee + $30/day self parking fee that is not included in your package, so plan on a bit more than what you initially paid.

We stayed for one night because it was our 30th anniversary and the hotel we were at was in a more more rural area and we wanted to have a nice dinner. The person at check-in approved up for an early checkin (after 12:00 noon) which was awesome! Room was fantastic with a great view of the ocean. Seemed like a lot of activities which available alhough since we were only there for one night we didn't have time to enjoy. Maybe next time!

Beautiful resort with stunning views. The rooms have been renovated but keep in mind the building itself is pretty old, which might be why it’s on the less expensive side of other resorts in Kauai. Regardless, the staff did a great job at cleaning our rooms and helping us anytime we needed something. I even forgot my camera charger in my room after check out and they went and got it from the next guests for me. Overall, had a great experience staying here!

my husband and I came to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, 1st time in Kauai must say the location is really close to airport and still had no complaints, I must say that I prob won’t be staying here at the sonesta since I will be traveling with my teens and almost 10 year old next time and I know for a fact that they will prob be bored, I wish the property had like a game room or more activities for teens since they get easily get bored, but other then that it was great

The pool at the resort is great. It never felt crowded and plenty of chairs by the pool. The beach access is a huge plus. It is very close to food options other than the normal resort restaurants.
