The hotel was very comfortable. It is an older place but very well maintained. It was fight on Pacific Beach and walking distance to many resturants. We enjoyed our stay. We had a balcony where we could see the beach.

I like that it was on the boardwalk and beach. Restaurants and the grocery store are walkable. There is a parking lot where we can leave our car and walk everywhere. There is no AC, but the fan helps during the day. Evenings are cooler. Rooms are clean and the staff is helpful.

It was a great experience. It’s a beach town and the hotel has been there a hot minute. So don’t expect a high end hotel. This is a fantastic family vacation home away from home. The staff have been incredible. So nice and accommodating

We liked that it was so close to the beach and restaurants . The room was big, 2 queens . The kitchenette was small and limited supplies.(3 wine glasses, 2 cups..) bathroom was old, worn out floor, not appealing at all. The furniture was old looking and run down.

Our stay was great, we wished we were staying longer because one night wasn’t enough. Parking was easy and plentiful, the room was ready early (we did have to pay $25 to check in 90 min early though), and the location could not be better. Everything you need is walking distance. We can’t wait to stay here again! Be warned that if you’re looking for a quiet room, do not stay in the beachfront cottages. We were warned about this and personally didn’t care about noise but if you want a quieter room, get one in a different area.

Everyone else in the reviews is right about location because it really is great! So close to the beach with walkable restaurants and stores! Having direct access to the boardwalk and to the beach is a huge bonus. The staff were also super amazing and accommodating. We got there early hoping to just leave our car in the parking lot but they were able to check us in early! Shout out to David for being so helpful and accommodating us when we had issues with our room! Staff is super friendly and never had a problem! Also just as an FYI only the North building had AC. Some rooms may be better with the ocean breeze flowing in but make your choice wisely! Will definitely be coming back!
