Harbour glamour with a larrikin edge

W Sydney rises above Darling Harbour inside The Ribbon, where a bold “larrikin” spirit runs through riotous, futuristic interiors that still feel luxe. Arrivals move from a copper-clad entry into the vivid-blue Living Room, a Future Noir social hub with an electric circular bar, sake and soju, and Japanese-inspired small bites. Upstairs, the Level 29 WET Deck pairs a 30-metre open-air infinity pool and cabana lounges with 180-degree harbour views.

Signature dining at BTWN
Modern Australian menus celebrate New South Wales produce with panoramic harbour views.
Rooftop nights on 29/30
Two levels of cocktails, tapas, and cabanas set above a mosaic infinity pool.
Harbourfront location
Step onto wide boardwalks lined with alfresco restaurants and coffee shops.

There is nothing not to like about the W. From the moment you walk in to the building, then into the lobby, then into your room, it’s just wow, wow, wow. Stay here, it’s so cool - the rooms, the pools, the views, the bars, just awesome

The reception & concierge staff were friendly & welcoming. All areas of hotel were clean & tidy. The rooms were excellent & we had great views of Darling Harbour. The rooftop infinity pool over the Harbour was fabulous. We dinned in the BTWN restaurant& although pricey the food was excellent & plentiful. The location is fabulous & it’s an easy walk to Pit Street & QVB building.
