Live an hour away and wanted to get away for a special occasion. This was perfect! Beautiful location, inn, rooms. Room was very comfortable. Staff was excellent! Breakfast was just okay. Great place and I can’t wait to return!
We are very picky about hotels. The Williamsburg Inn was so lovely that we ended up staying an extra night. It is a classic, luxurious Colonial hotel in a peaceful setting, just a block from the Main Street of Colonial Williamsburg. The rooms are elegant, the beds very comfortable and the staff incredibly professional and friendly. Staying in such a beautiful property so full of history was a true treat. We can't wait to go back.
This is a classic property in Williamsburg VA. The property is well maintained with loads of old world charm. The restaurant on the property is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
We were amazed with the condition of this 100-year-old property! The functional areas are beautifully and tastefully restored and the traditional areas are perfectly maintained. All staff members were extremely friendly and professional, and they were eager to assist in every request. Front office staff, maid service, baggage handlers, restaurant staff were all exceptional. Our stay could not have been better, unless it had been much longer!!
The Williamsburg Inn is absolutely FANTASTIC! Tim and Leslie helped us with smooth check-in! They were just so nice and helpful!!! We were surrounded by beautiful decor/antiques! Rides were complimentary to dinner/stores (Howard was amazing)! The incredible maids cleaned up our room and provided chocolates and slippers! Tim even text me to see how things were going!!! We celebrated our 31st Anniversary at this incredible Inn and loved the beautiful grounds and service! We will tell everyone and we will be back! Just amazing, thank you.... WE ARE GRATEFUL!!!

Excellent stay. Highly recommended for a luxurious treat while visiting Williamsburg. Splurge and stay at The Williamsburg Inn- what a treat!
Lovely Inn in Colonial Williamsburg with walkable distances to everything you want to see and do there. Amenities in line with expectations for the price point of the rooms. Knowledgeable concierge but we received inaccurate information from the hotel front desk more than once.
Make reservations at the restaurant upon booking or arrival as none were available to us. We opted to eat in the bar. Food was good but not hit enough. The lobster was raw and was sent back to the kitchen. Expensive disappointment.
In town for class reunion and stayed here for the first time in many years. It was absolutely delightful. Staff couldn't have been more friendly (think southern hospitality on steroids) and helpful. We extended our stay for this reason. Had 2 meals in their restaurant and they were outstanding. Gift shop is can't miss its so unique and filled with fantastic gifts. We had king room with fireplace and realistically its more of a mini suite than just a room. We will repeat for sure.
