Apartment we stayed in was quiet and clean for the most part. My only concerns were the shower curtain was not long enough so water ran all over the bathroom floor. If possible please invest in longer shower curtains or a shower door. Also the sheets in the bedroom appeared to be slightly dirty as if the staff didnt provide freshly cleaned sheets between guests.
This was a wonderful place to stay for a few days - our suite had a full kitchen, super comfy beds, and a great little living space for morning coffees. We ended up in the area unexpectedly, so asked for some food & entertainment recommendations and we're offered some GREAT ideas! It is walking distance to grocery, restaurants, and coffee and right across the street from the train so was SUPER easy to get up and down the coast for wonderful day trips. Came with my bestie, will be back with the hubs!
This is a property with on line check in and no on property staff. While the room was okay, well appointed and clean, it was on the 2nd floor with only outside stairs to get to it...we prefer first floor due to heavy luggage and being older. It looks more modern on line, but was very reminiscent of a referburished 1970s hotel.
Really love this place, my husband and I stay here each time we visit Salem. We have a fantastic time, the hotel is always clean and staff goes above, and beyond each time. Highly recommend!
Our stay at The Beverly was great!
Parking was easy, it was quiet .
The bed was comfy n big and the coffees creamer in the room was a huge plus too!
We will be back
Easy access.. No front desk.. simply the use of codes to get into room. Nice set up for a comfortable stay with a sofa, table, kitchen if needed. Bed was very firm which we liked.
I have stayed there before and have always had a pleasant experience. The room was nice and clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The kitchen and all the appliances, utensils, dishes, etc were all nice and clean. The laundry room is definitely an added bonus. Parking was plentiful. The week I stayed there I never saw any staff. I figured someone would put fresh linen and empty the trash however that didn’t happen. Not a deal breaker but it would have been nice.
The area is nice and it is close to restaurants as well as a grocery store, and is a short drive into Salem.
I plan on staying there many more times in the future.
Very nice comfy spot, only issue I had was the cord for the little desk fan didn’t work. Great spot other than that. Little pricey but it was Memorial Day weekend. Quiet and there were no interactions with any staff due to it all being through phone it was contactless
The whole stay was disappointing. It took us over an hour to get into a room. The room ended up being in the basement. If I had known that was a possibility I would not have booked the hotel. The air conditioning unit was leaking down the wall & spiting out water. The bathroom floor boards & corners needed cleaning. Paint is peeling on the bottom of the door. The bathroom looked tired. The towels never got actually dry & there was a musty smell to the room. The sound from the room above our room was also constant, we joked that there was a dancing class above us. We asked about moving but the property was full & I had prepaid for the room. The staff did respond but could not solve the problems. The room was about $230/night so we did not expect the Fairmont but we also did not expect what it was. The good news is that the beds were comfortable & the room size was large. The staff did check in a couple times by text. Maybe the rooms on the main & second level are nicer.
