Such a gorgeous staircase as you enter. The history of this beautiful hotel is why I have always wanted to stay even though it's about 15 minutes from my home in Louisville. It was the perfect choice, with only a 5 minute walk following a concert at The Louisville Palace. I could go on and on about the beauty and comfort of The Seelbach, but you really should check it out for yourself.

Gorgeous historic hotel, very ornate and in a great location a few walkable blocks from Whiskey Row. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel as I prefer going to local places. I wish we had time for the historic tour of the building. The room and bed was well appointed and comfortable. My only complaints were the bathroom is very small, almost nowhere for your toiletries and a narrow corner shower. Also when I tried calling a few days prior to my trip my call got routed to Hilton Honors. I finally got HH to transfer me to the hotel but it took forever. A grand hotel like this should answer the phone in a timely manner and not pawn it off on Hilton Honors.

Loved everything about it! The building is absolutely beautiful, the staff were very helpful, everything was very clean and comfortable. We loved the free tour and all of the history. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well worth it. We would love to come back!

Great classic hotel with all the feels. I was hoping to see a ghost but alas. Very clean. Great shower. Great bed. Stayed there for a wedding in the Rathskeller which was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was good too. Close to 4th Street Live which was fun to stroll through afterwards.

The hotel itself is great! Very centrally located with all the amenities. The rooms are large enough, clean ,quiet and the air conditioner works well. The bed was really good too. The only issue we had was the front desk. We put in a special request and it was approved. When the time came, there were complications. When we tried to rectify the situation, the staff at the front desk on that occasion was not terribly responsive. After several attempts the problem was resolved. But we needed to ask for help several times before any action was taken. One small blip on an otherwise great stay.

The Seelbach has an excellent bar that offers a wide range of drinks. The hotel staff are very accommodating and responsive and the hotel itself is absolutely stunning! The history and the architecture of the hotel are a must see!
