Our trip to the Maldives at Vakkaru was a dream come true. We were blessed with perfect weather and amazing experiences, like swimming with mantas, thanks to Sato's exceptional care. Breakfast was always a highlight, thanks to Azzam's warm welcome and guidance through the buffet. Meeting Ankita and Sajith added to our joy, with Sajith's incredible coffee art and cocktails. Ahoo even helped us capture perfect moments on the swings. The massages by Ana and Neva were the best we've ever had. Rijai's humor made lunchtime unforgettable. Overall, Vakkaru's service was impeccable, and we'll cherish our memories forever. If you're considering a trip to the Maldives, Vakkaru is a must!

Beautiful new hotel with amazing staff

We loved our stay at Vakkaru , from arrival to the departure we didn’t feel like a guests- we felt like a family or very close friends .. The staff doesn’t fail to smile 24/7 and the extend of pampering and care of you it’s enormous! They would never say no to anything! Especially Sam our buttler was amazing, along with Firo, Niam, italian chef and the list goes on.... The island itself is incredibly beautiful with lots of nature and lovely house reef just outside the water villas .... we loved everything about our stay there - food, wine, beaches, people, our villa etc.etc. :)

I loved the cleanliness, quietness and uniqueness of the property. I loved how caring and attentive the Butler(Emma) was, she is indeed the perfect person for such a job, she was awesome. The customer service is bar none. One of the best properties that I have ever visited. From the beginning of my correspondence with them to the end, I was floored by the timely responses from Hussain Sanih. This gentleman paid fantastic attention to details and did not disappoint. I enjoyed staying at this property and would love to return. My butler was so easy to deal with we felt like giving her the world but we gave what we could, she was just so easy to deal with, so likable and pleasant. She is just perfect and authentically pleasant.

The entire property was spacious and facilities well-maintained. the villas are well-designed complete with top-notch amenities. Minor concern on the width of the pathways leading to the water villas where we stayed, its a bit narrow. It was hard for 2 golf carts to fit. railings of the pathways are less than 6-inches high. These could be a safety concern. Service was impeccable, most of the managers and staff were very warm and attentive, all of them remember each guest by the name. Special mention goes to our butler Guty, who attended to each and every request we had, excellent. Chef Driss and Didier made sure our dining experience was always special and they took time to chat with everyone. Restaurant manager Charito was always topnotch as well, including restaurant staff Ghie, Sanju, Kate and Angel. We tried all the restaurants, from Onu the Asian resto, to Vakku the grill resto, Amanny where we had breakfast daily, Lagoon Bar for Japanese - great quality, taste, presentation & service. Vakkaru made our first ever Maldives trip our best in a long time. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

I have recently spent a holiday with my partner in paradise. We had not seen each other for 2 years, and we missed each other greatly. It was such a great experience for us to be and we were very satisfied with the services offered. Our butler Emma met us at the SeaPlane and took care of us very well throughout our stay. She was very kind, helpful, resourceful, fast, and professional. However, there are some issues to note: 1. Morning buffet items are quite limited. We stayed for 6 days, and we honestly got bored of the morning buffet. 2. Charging $6 for water in the restaurants while it's free by the villa is really a bad policy. We did not feel it is justifiable. 3. While a premium is to be expected, we found that pricing is a bit funny and illogical. Some foods taste better and look more expensive but cost much cheaper than others? If you read the menus carefully, you will understand what I mean. Other than that, our experience at the resort is very positive. Even though the weather was quite hot and humid, all employees greeted us warmly. They performed exceptional customer service in every aspects. We were so appreciative, and could not ask for more.

Es un verdadero 5 estrellas donde se nota perfectamente que cada uno de los funcionarios del hotel estan preparados para brindar la mejor atencion posible a sus huespedes. En 7 noches no pudimos encontrar una sola falla o desatencion en ningun Servicio de limpieza, cuidado de la habitacion, atencion en los restaurantes, el centro Splash, los bares, servicio de piscina. Irey nuestro butler sencillamente espectacular, atento, expeditivo y super amable. La limpieza y reposicion de amenities en la habitacion es 2 veces por dia, super atentos, todo el hotel impecable de arriba a abajo. El hotel es super tranquilo, la cocina excelente y la comida muy sabrosa. En resumen, todos los comentarios 5* son ciertos. Dedique varias horas a leer Reviews para decidirme entre un grupo de hoteles "finalistas" para nuestro hospedaje en un Resort de lujo en Maldivas, y es casi frustrante no poder señalar algo que puedan mejorar. Como algunos reviews indican, lo unico de lo que alguien podria quejarse de este hotel es que es sumamente caro, pero creo que el que esta considerando hospedarse y se toma la molestia de ver los costos antes aqui ya sabe a lo que va, asi que no puede decir que lo tome de sorpresa. Inicialmente consideramos tomar el Beverage Plan, pero luego de ver mejor los precios de bebidas decidimos no tomarlo, ya que no valia la pena para la cantidad que ibamos a consumir. Fue una buena descision, ya que terminamos gastando bastante menos. El Full Board si es altamente recomendado.

O hotel era simplesmente um sonho. Café da manhã maravilhoso. Ficamos no quarto water bungalow. Vista maravilhosa, quarto impecável. Nossa mordoma Emma nos ajudou com tudo.
