The hotel was in a great central location. Staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Recommend booking a room that is not Standard as standard room is very small for 2 people. Bed very comfortable, Overall, we loved the hotel, but our room was too small., but we survived!!!

The fact that I stayed at the SUNROUTE twice on this trip should tell you it’s a very good hotel. Convenient to Shinjuku and great stop on limousine bus . Lots in the area including central shinjuku and shopping and train stations. Breakfast wide variety towards Japanese end. Prefer the double room vs economy single since more room to open luggage. Great lobby amenities. Will be back for sure !

Stayed twice at the Sunroute on this trip with a pit stop in between to go to Osaka/Kyoto. Hotel kept my biggest luggage in between for free. The Sunroute has definitely grown on me and I like that it’s a stop on the Limousine bus - centrally located as well. Amenities in lobby a HUGE plus. Family mart and 7-11 less than a 3 minute walk. Large breakfast Buffett skewing towards Japanese side. Will stay again for sure !

Pros - Good location. Many amenities to choose from. Cons - The room is only cleaned every three days. Request for towels can be made and this is hung outside the door but used towels will stillbe left in the room.
