Had the best and most memorable stay here. The staff pay attention to detail and ensure you have everything you need. I have been impressed with the quality of the service. The rooms are fantastic. I like the model of fewer rooms but there’s no compromise on space. The pool and beach facilities are impeccable. Thank you for one of the best stays for me in Santorini!

Such a beautiful resort! The accommodations, food, spa services, amenities and staff were impeccable. The swimming pool design was like no other I've ever seen......just gorgeous! The hosts/manager Greg and Dimitra were very welcoming and helpful, as was all the staff!! I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a luxury vacation with 5 star service!!

We loved the hotel and the staff, especially Pavlos who helped us make many last minute bookings. The chat service was very convenient. Food was amazing, bed was very comfortable and toiletries were so good from Korres. If I could pick this hotel up and place it in a more remote location that would be amazing. From the pictures I imagined it would be very private and in a natural setting. But the hotel is in the middle of a town, surrounded by many beach resorts that don’t have the same vibe as Istoria.

Istoria was magnificent. It was beautiful and classy. The room was quiet and so well decorated with gorgeous private pool. The hotel pool was also probably the best Ive ever seen, I never wanted to leave and actually preferred it to the ocean that was just outside the front doors. The staff were attentive and so friendly. If you're looking for a beach side stay in a more quiet area of Santorini, this is the choice for you. Its at least a 30min drive to more touristy areas like Oia where you can get your IG shots of stairs and sunsets. But the hotel will book you great tours of those areas as well. Finally, the spa was incredible and well priced. Overall, Id stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Experience !

My wife and I had the chance to stay in this hotel for 8 nights for our honeymoon, a couple of days after the opening of this facility. The hotel staff has been very caring, extremely friendly and always ready to provide a quality of service above and beyond. The breakfast is delicious and offers a large variety of choices including gluten free options. We booked the Storia Suite which offers a large living space for a couple, separated between a lovely living room and a cozy bedroom with a most comfortable king size bed we ever had. The hidden gem is definitely the fantastic private terrace which has an amazing jetted tub pool with view on the sea for long and refreshing sun tanning experience. The hotel is located just in front of the beach of Perissa and the road along this strip offers options such as restaurants and night club. However we didn't experience any of them as we had a rental car, and we were most of the time away from this area. The only improvement we see is maybe the Wi-Fi connection and coverage, great in some places, but less in others with occasional disconnections. But I am being picky here. Who has time to browse internet while in Santorini? The overall experience has been fantastic, period. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a hotel that offers a surprising experience, in a romantic setting, and surrounded by an excellent staff.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience at the Istoria Hotel. I would recommend it to anyone I know. The staff went out of their way to not only meet our needs, but exceed them at every turn. The property itself is stunning and it's really the little extras that the staff does (i.e. a cold beverage waiting at your check in) that makes the say beyond wonderful. I'll certainly be back :)

Great location right in front of black sand beach. The hot tub in the spa was great and my pregnant wife had a delightful massage. The bartender Kostantinos was very nice by the pool area. We loved the view of the mountain in the morning. The staff was top notch! Only negative is the drink prices are high relative to the neighboring beach bars. Other than that we had a great stay for 2 nights.

Pros: Perfectly situated right off black beach. Staff very attentive and accomodating. Very comfortable environment in the southeast corner of Santorini. Rooms are very comfortable. Private jacuzzi is a nice bonus. Rural area, less populated than further north, Fira, Oui, etc. Cons: No gym on site. Transfer to/fm airport cost extra. Spa services are good but not equivalent to cost. Hotel pool water is cold in September, should be heated. Private jacuzzi is heated, but residents cant adjust temperature to personal comfort levels.

Where would I start... the welcoming smiling faces of the wonderful staff in all departments ... reception, house keeping, top and all level management... unfortunately I only could remember the names of two Georges... a receptionist and the manager... they resembled the whole nice staff ... My wife and I spent six wonderful nights in this five star hotel... Even though the hotel is brand new ... not a single mistake was encountered ... I also have to mention the food quality... the chef was excellent by all standards... the serving staff were really up to standard... such hospitable people... I planned on a week ( minimum) at this hotel every now and then... It’s location across from the beautiful beach was awesome ... Finally, with a 12 bedroom boutique hotel like Istoria... you can make friends easily... we met two wonderful Swiss friends ( like family to us already ... Markeena and Daniel were just like our sons and daughters... we shared great days together .... Thanks to the whole Istoeia family ❤️
