Exceeded all our expectations, just the views from the bridge and the amount of wildlife you can see without leaving the hotel. Our game driver was a 11/10, outstanding knowledge, friendly and courteous. You name it we saw it. The hospitality staff was incredible from housekeeping, front desk, wait staff and everyone we interacted with. Food options were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel, we are definitely going to go back.

Great accommodation, beautiful style, great food in every meal as well as super nice and helpful staff, specially the game drive guides which do an excellent job. This must be one of the most special properties in South Africa, if not on the entire African continent! Every detail of our stay was made to feel extraordinarily special, from the staff stocking the game drives with our favourite beverages, to the intimate surprise fireside dinner for two. We truly left feeling that if we were to return, our favourite staff members would remember us. Thoughtful menus and wine list, superb and unique decor that embraces the local surroundings, and pleasantly long and educational game drives.

An excellent stay from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout. Our safari guide Joe was outstanding - deeply knowledgeable about the wildlife and truly passionate about it. He took his time with us and we learned so much. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

This was the best hospitality I've ever experienced. My son and I loved staying there. It was so unique to be on the train, and it was very clean and luxurious. Our guide, Thuli, was amazing and extremely knowledgable on our game drives. Highly recommend her too!
