Everything was clean, and the staff was very attentive. One thing I especially appreciated was the air conditioning—it was by far the best we encountered during our trip. We visited four different countries and stayed in four different hotels, and this hotel had the most comfortable room temperature by far.

Staff were wonderful, and so was breakfast. The room was fine. Could do with a kettle. Our needs other than that were amply met. Only negatives: reception architecture is all high ceilings, hard terrazzo floors, plenty of light but doesn’t give a welcoming feel. It’s left to the staff to make up for the warmth the design could impart with a few softer touches. Interior corridors were gloomy and motel-like. The breakfast area nd garden are wonderful though. Great neighborhood!
