Beautiful location that was quiet and peaceful with easy access to town. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great price for the level of service! Would go back and will be checking out their other properties.
A fantastic location next to the sea with amazing views. The rooms are very comfortable with a rustic feel which fits in with the eco and sustainability focus of the hotel. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to stay for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of Koh Samui.
Beautiful room great ocean view room has large windows all around split level with a private pool and sitting area at the lower level
Service is excellent and cleanup is twice a day
The staff is very nice and always helpful

Everything about this resort is outstanding! The staff the food, the villa and the beach! Special mention of Bee our GEM. She did everything to make our stay as comfortable as it could! Didn’t want to leave! A very special place which will always be in my heart!

During our stay, several guests encountered issues with pool umbrellas falling over due to the wind, as the umbrellas did not appear to be properly secured. I was unfortunately injured in one such incident and had to be taken to the hospital. Despite the seriousness of the incident, no member of the senior management team acknowledged what had happened or followed up to check on my condition. Another guest also shared that she had experienced a similar issue with the umbrella by her villa pool.
The spa therapists were excellent and performed the treatments with exceptional technique. However, all of the lockers had a strong mouldy smell, and the shower drainage was blocked, causing the shower area to flood during my use.
During an evening visit to the bar, I discovered a staple in my bar snack and had to spit it out.
There were also several cleanliness and maintenance concerns in our villa. The bed canopy remained noticeably dusty throughout our stay, while debris beside the guest room entrance was never cleared during our stay of almost one week. In addition, the villa's floor-to-ceiling window wall leaked during heavy rain.
My partner and I stayed for 4 days. Lena was very helpful, and overall, all the staff were very friendly and cheerful. The service was excellent, and the food was great. The only downside was that the sea was very wavy, so we went to another beach to swim.
I have stayed at many 5-star hotels, all over the world. I believe the service at Six Senses Samui is the best. An extraordinary experience, at an extraordinary place of beauty
Our GEM made our stay so relaxing and all our needs were taken care of.
The treatments at the spa were expensive but dreamlike, we had 4 unforgettable treatments.
The view was stunning.
The breakfast food was 5/5. The buffet was marvellous, with an a la carte included.
The hotel's accessibility could be improved. Not every staircase had a handrail.

Six Senses Samui is amazing. Friendly and accomodating staff, private very comfy villas, great food. The location is exquisite with pools overlooking the ocean both in the service areas and private villas. Drift bar and dining is the bomb when it comes to all day swimming at the beach or relaxing by the pool in the sun and being spoilt by the Drift staff. SS is a must for those seeking a luxurious relaxing get away.
The property adopts a very good concept to be in good harmony with the nature! The ocean view from the villa, restaurants and the spa is spectacular. All staff members are friendly and helpful. To enable this hotel to stay competitive, the facilities such as the toilet and faucet can be renovated. The food quality of the restaurants can also be improved.
This hotel was outstanding in every way possible. We felt cared for from the moment we arrived to our departure and this goes down to every single person working at the hotel (Special thanks to Aum for being our GEM).
The hotel is beautifully laid out, where every part felt quiet, peaceful and private. Food was amazing, breakfast was spectacular, and the views from Dinning on the hill was a bonus. Our private villa with pool was idealic and tranquil, and a great touch was how our bedroom was prepared for our bedtime.
We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again in the future. Next time, we’ll stay for our entired period on the island.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Six Senses Hotel in Ko Samui, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every need was met.
The hotel itself is stunning, and the private villas blend seamlessly into the natural landscape, providing a sense of tranquility and seclusion. My villa was beautifully designed, featuring a private infinity pool that overlooked the ocean.
The food at Six Senses was another highlight prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The wine was also very good.
The massages were fantastic. I can highly recommend Melon, but I am sure that all the masseuses are all great.
The hotel helped the easy organization of tailored boat tours as well as a half day with a driver.
Overall, my stay at Six Senses Ko Samui was a perfect break. The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding service, wonderful food and top quality massages made for a truly memorable vacation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene and indulgent getaway.
This is our second visit to Six Senses Samui and it was again, fabulous! Cleanliness, eco-friendly, staff, food, and location, all top notch...can't say enough about it...we are planning a return visit next year! Marieke Dijkhuis, the general manager and the food manager were always accessible and visible multiple times during the day. They were truly interested in our thoughts about the quality of service, food and atmosphere. The Gems and or butlers were very personable and always somehow knew what we might need in advance of our knowing...amazing! The cleaning staff always did an impeccable job and with a smile. The spa, oh the spa...marvelous... Coy, our masseuse is very proficient and professional at her trade...Oh and let's not forget the buggy drivers... always at our door in a matter of seconds so they could zip us to wherever we needed to go. We enjoyed every second of our stay...can't wait until we meet again!!
Amazing staff, amazing food, restaurants and pools are first class. Good Service over all. Beware that the property is very spread out and also removed from island life. Good if you want to get away from it all and isolate yourself. Long distances between your room and the restaurants. Unless you like to walk a lot, you need to call a buggy to get picked up, which usually arrives pretty fast. Only real let-down is there is only one tiny sandy and usable beach for the entire place (the rest is all rocks). For Koh Samui the beach is unattractive and uninviting. They maintain the hotel part of beach (about 30-40 meters}, but if you go for a walk on the other 150 meters or so, it bis littered with trash and plastic bottles, very unappetizing. With the cheap labour in Thailand it would cost next to nothing to send 2 guys a few times a week to collect the trash. So don't come for the beach here, but everything else is pretty spectacular.
