While a bit dated, that's part of the charm and the staff was some of the friendliest I've experienced. Super helpful, super accommodating, and super friendly. A short, mostly pretty walk to "downtown" made it easy to not have to drive a lot and outside of losing power (not in their control), it was a great, relaxing stay! The staff went out of the way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable, providing really warm, professional service throughout, and taking a genuine interest in our trip. Emily, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful; she offered amazing advice based on what we were doing in the area anyway, and on leaving, gave us pointers for San Francisco - all of which turned out to be fabulous! The whole property is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, and we had a superb room in Belden house. It feels really cosy and quaint whilst retaining modernity. We would highly recommend dining there in the evening if you get a chance to. The food was incredible, and the staff went out of the way to accommodate us.
