Uenomachi station is convenient to move around with direct train to Kyoto and Nara. The hotel is linked to a small mall with food and supermarket. Hotel was kind and offered to upgrade us to a junior suite during our 8 nites stay. Room was clean and service was great! Received a complimentary cookies as a honeymoon gift from the hotel. We topped up for the international buffet breakfast and it was great! I personally like the Japanese station for the buffet breakfast. It is also convenient as there is an airport shuttle just outside the hotel which will bring you straight to Kansai international airport. We travelled with 2 adults and 1 child age 10 years. Site states family friendly with a pool. But kids age 12 and under not allowed to use the pool. Also, you need to pay around 2000 yen per person per day to use it.
