The Safari in is a cool and iconic spot to stay the night. It’s dated, but clean and the surrounding area is quiet, but close to all of the action. The rooms are very basic, but they get the job done. Fun overall stay, just watch out for Drexel.

We ended up loving the property of course it is such a iconic hotel. It was fun to be somewhere where stars had stayed. It was very central to Warner Brothers Studios. It was actually very central to Hollywood, which is where we ended up a lot of the time in our stay there what we didn’t like was that the beds weren’t comfortable and the sheets were not comfortable. To make this stay much better if they could upgrade the beds and the sheets it would make this hotel incredible.

Classic, historic and nostalgic. Well maintained and refreshed rooms. Nice warm pool to relax. Useful shuttle but book as soon as you make a reservation. Convenient options for food and essentials closeby. Kind staff. Beautiful church across the street. Cheap parking but smallish spots. Safe and friendly and well located to Unvieral and Warner Bros. FUN!

We love staying here for the convenience of the shuttle to take us to Universal. It also has great surrounding places to eat and shop. The only downside was our bathroom had a leaky ceiling that we notified to maintenance and the tv oftentimes glitched.

Parking lot is absolutely awful-if you are driving a larger vehicle or arrive late, good luck trying to make it work! Room itself was dated but clean, and was close enough to universal studios to make it worth it for a one night stay.
