Beautiful hotel, great lobby areas, great breakfast, parking was a plus. The location is fantastic and the staff was friendly. We rented four rooms and every bed was clean but overly firm however, that seems to always be the case in Colombia. Be prepared for an extra insurance plan to be factored in after you make the reservation. I feel like that could be included in the original price, but it had to be paid upon arrival. They also charged for one lost plastic key card. I hoped that could have been included in the price of the rental and insurance, but it was not. The rooms do have air conditioning, but the limit to the lowest temperature is 19 degrees Celsius and there are no windows that can be opened. It takes a while for the room to cool down but it eventually does. The refrigerator in my room wasn't working well. It was good enough to chill nonperishable items but not a plate of food. It is a lovely place to stay, and I will probably stay there again but I am glad that I know what I now know. I recommend the hotel for sure, and I appreciated the provision of toiletries that were included in our stay there. The staff was very nice, and everyone was helpful. I enjoy Laureles.

The hotel is nice, however the room was disappointing. The floor had water damage and the wood planks were separated from each other causing gaps. The drawers of the furniture were constantly open because they wouldn't close properly. The window covering was not able to open and close properly. The bed was very firm and constantly squeaked while moving on it during entry, exit and movement during seeping. Lastly, we arrived to the room without towels and when we tried to call the front desk, the room phone was not operational. Although the room was ery disappointing, the location is excellent and in walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Even though this hotel has a great location, I would find better accommodations in the same area.

Diana checked us in on Saturday, she was wonderful & friendly. The moment we stepped into the building her warm smile greeted us. I felt welcomed. On Monday night, the moment she saw us, she asked if we were okay because of the Earthquake. I appreciated her & gentleman for asking because the experience was scary.Everything was shaking but thank God the building stood strong and we are alive. I forgot the name of the gentleman who asked if we were okay but he said he was on his bike when the Earthquake happened, he was a wonderful sweetheart. Thanks to the 3 employees who went with us in the elevator to take us to our floor because we had no intention of using any elevator after the Earthquake. All the staffs we interacted with from the receptionist area to the dining area were professional and wondeful. They did their best to communicate with us as we spoke little/no spanish - they were helpful and awesome. The hotel location is great lots of food places within walking distance. I felt safe walking around the surrounding area at night too. The hotel is lovely &quiet .Wish they had mint/peppermint tea. Breakfast was okay, not alot to choose from.The room was good with a nice view. Something bit me on the side part of my calf on the bed Saturday night, so in the morning I showed the front desk person the reddish brusied area and got alcohol & ointment to put on it. But I was comforted knowing they cleaned daily.

It was a really great day. I like the hotel I especially like the stuff the reception staff and the restaurant all of them were very very friendly. I don’t know all of their names, but Miss Diana helped me out very well. All of them are very kind I really recommend a hotel. The only thing I feel like it’s a bit. It’s a bit far for meand for where I had to go and.

The stay was excellent. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Only complaint is that it took 45 minutes to checkout and some back and forth on charges. Just make sure you keep track of additional charges and receipts. Also, showers are a little tricky to operate but after realizing there are two controls on the nozzle to adjust hot and cold all worked as it should. Beds are a little firm, but my back thanked me afterwards. Hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants around it. Overall, highly recommend and will stay here next visit.
