This place is so beautiful. The room was so huge. The staff were so friendly and kind. Would definitely stay again in a heart beat. You can’t go wrong with this place. It was under construction in the lobby and restaurant wish we could have had dinner there so many next time!!!
Great central location. Very charming property. Nice room. Clean bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay again when we return to Charleston.
The room was fantastic - spacious and well appointed. The bed was not very comfortable. The hotel has virtually no amenities, and it is currently being renovated. To be fair, the hotel notified me in advance that it was being renovated and that its award winning restaurant would be closed. While there is a cafe and second bar in the hotel, it was closed early evening, The construction noise started before 8:00 am and there was debris and dust floating around the outdoor spaces and entryway. The staff was very professionals and nice. And the location is great. But while under construction there should have been a significant discount to comparable properties.
Loved everything about our stay at Planters inn. Historic charm, super comfortable, and top-notch service. Huge shotout to Banks and Paolo, they were so welcoming , helpful and took great care of us! Can't beat the vibe of this hotel in the French quarter.Just so authentically ADORABLE!
I liked the convenient location, the attentive helpful staff, the attractive decor, the outdoor dining atmosphere and the quality food we had during our stay.
We had a wonderful stay at Planters Inn while celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday in Charleston. The staff was exceptional, our courtyard-facing suite was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Having a great restaurant on-site was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!
Our stay at the Planters Inn at Meeting & Market streets was absolutely wonderful. We can't wait to go back and stay again. Rooms were lovely, the courtyard very quaint and we had a delicious meal at the Peninsula Grill.
The hotel is under renovation which changes the overall experience. Our room was clean, quiet & had charm of times past. We hope the renovation doesn’t remove that charm.
Just a lovely place in a lovely part of a lovely city. A calm, quiet oasis. Can’t say enough for the kind employees and the well-worn comfort of a historic hotel. I hope it’s up and running in another hundred years.
