The ponies are on view close to the motel. We haven't visited for a number of years and recognize that the rooms have been refurnished. Having a desk is always a plus if traveling with a computer and then to have a cafe size table made the king room seem like a suite. The pool is very pleasant and our room faced a grassy side of the motel with large trees and a picnic table. Walking distance of restaurants.

Little gem! Authentic to the island with exceptional attention to detail and service! Totally recommend and planning to go back there again. The best part is the ponies that you get to hand feed and relaxing pool area/jacuzzi. Word of caution - bring bug spray - we encountered A LOT of mosquitos!

Refuge inn was a great experience for me and my partner who loves horses we got to feed the ponies that were on the property and the surrounding areas were goood great restaurants and stores nearby and the beach is about 10-15 mins by bicycle. 10/10 I 100% recommend.

The comfortable beds offered a restful night's sleep after a long day of travel. The complimentary breakfast provided a variety of options to start the day. We were delighted with the accommodations. The rooms are well appointed and spacious, and some thought went into the decor not just in the rooms, but also the halls and even the pool area. This was a wonderful stay on an island where we have visited for many years. We will be including The Refuge Inn as a destination for future visits.
