Provided water in recyclable glass bottles was awesome. Big clean rooms, even had a washer and dryer! Loved it!

My family and i had an amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they were also fantastic with the kids. The kids club was awesome and so were the movies at the pool. The resort is a bit out of town, but quite easy to get a cab or Bolt(uber) anywhere. i cannot recommend this place highly enough. will be staying here again.

We had an amazing stay here. The room was huge, we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was perfect with two young kids. Also so nice that it had a washer and dryer in the room free of charge. Our kids loved going to the kids club and they were able to stay as long as they wanted. Food is good at the Zest restaurant, mini golf was fun and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely come back again next time we visit Phuket!

We liked the room we stayed in. It was so comfortable-from the beds to the kitchen, they thought of every detail. Our balcony felt very private. Loved having laundry in the room. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond every single time we interacted with them. Excellent property and services! So well maintained. We also liked that there was a sister property that was walkable. We frequented the Turtle Island shopping center for dinner and shopping as well. The kids absolutely loved the pool areas. We would definitely stay here again!

Suitable for families with younger kids

Lots to do, and you can use the restaurants at the sister hotel JW Marriott & charge to your room, but not the facilities, which was odd. Beware, this hotel is not on the beach. You have to take a buggy or bus to the JW Marriott (which is in the beach) and then through the hotel. If I’d had know I would book JW instead

Zero Complaints

The cleanliness and courteousness is top tier. Marriott has 2 properties next to each other. Choosing which to stay depends on what you’re looking for. If you want a condo style suite with bedrooms and/or private pool, choose Marriott Mai Khao. If you’re on a couples getaway or don’t care about having your own space in the room, choose JW Marriott…but you can’t go wrong with either!
