Wasn’t a very welcoming or friendly hotel. The very nicest people who work there are the guards at the gate. So nice. Everyone else, didn’t really care. Based on others’ reviews we skipped the pool and restaurants. The view from our balcony was amazing. The staff was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. We didn't use the pool, but it appeared clean. The balcony door was very hard to close. I couldn't do it alone. My husband had to close it. The beach is not swimmable, but the view is perfect. The location was great. Only about 7 minutes from the Christiansted boardwalk. The restaurant/bar on the property was nice. If you are looking for a resort type atmosphere, this probably isn't for you. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing time, it's perfect. Most resorts have amenities and many options of things you can do around a facility. This one had absolutely nothing other than a bar downstairs that had horrible coffee and at best, mid grade food. The prices were very high and it was just not accommodating for guests. I would not recommend this hotel because there’s nothing in the vicinity to do or to eat. It is not a resort. It is a hotel/inn. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose another place to stay. Could use some updating and repair, but you cannot beat the view of Green Key and the Caribbean from the rooms. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Having a kitchenette meant we could bring back leftovers and have lunch in the room is we wanted. Deep End Restaurant and Bar on Property is decent for breakfast and the Friday night Dinner and Show was very enjoyable. Sliding closet doors did not work and screen for door to balcony torn. Staff removed one closet door so we had access. Bed comfortable though pillows justbok. Bathroom nice and towels good quality. Biggest complaint is that there was only one restaurant on the property (the other one listed is closed). The food at the Deep End was good but service erratic, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Menu limited. And biggest issue is that the restaurant is not part of the resort. So we had to have a credit card with us, could not run a tab and pay at the end of our visit. Did have a great Caribbean show on Friday night. Could be cleaned more thoroughly. We really only used it as a place to sleep. There’s not really a beach on the hotel, it’s blocked by rocks but is still a relaxing atmosphere. This hotel is best to stay at if you’re renting a car or paying taxis to take you to other spots. Restaurant on site was also average and could use some improvements to the menu and preparation. Overall affordable and nice staff, so if you’re looking to save money this is fine. We loved the staff and the Deep End Bar and Grill was phenomenal!! Chance, the bartender, took great care of us when we would visit. We loved talking with him and Mark any time that we could. Jesus and the rest of the kitchen staff did an excellent job each time. The views are incredible, the pool is huge and well taken care of and the restaurant has decent food. They have great bartenders and servers that work at the Deep End bar and restaurant. The rooms could use a serious deep clean and the utensils, pans, cooking supplies need a major upgrade. The coffee pot leaks all over, the one pan really needs to be tossed. The resort offers laundry service on their website but that's not the case. There was stains on the sheets. The off white plastic trashcan is so dirty. There is a rusted out safe in the room that doesn't work. It truly is a bunch of little things that need some attention. The rooms are dated. The first room I was in, the sliding door handle broke off in my hand the first time I opened it to get a look at the water. The second room's hair dryer didn’t work. I stayed four nights and my room was never cleaned once, nor were any towels offered, and I dod not have a please do not disturb sign on my door, so plenty of opportunity to have it cleaned.
