A very comfortable and centrally located hotel. However, the roof top restaurant and the fitness center were both closed during our stay, which was a bit frustrating.

Loved this place. Great location in the heart of New Haven; a 5min walk to College St. The room was very well appointed, and the property is very nice. Wouldn’t choose anywhere else when we go back to New Haven.

We had a wonderful stay at the property; the room was clean and very comfortable! Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for lunch on both days; and booked for a private party during dinner; also rooftop bar was closed; and no breakfast on Mondays! Food availability could definitely be improved!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The employees were extremely helpful and kind. The room was well appointed with a beautiful room and I was delighted to see two novels in the room - what a thoughtful idea! Valet parking was available onsite and public parking within the same city block. There were so many varied dining options nearby and we enjoyed walking the nearby Yale campus. Great experience!

Amazing location in New Haven!!! The check in was not very friendly or informative. The lobby and furnishings are beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. There were lots of disappointments, like the broken equipment in the gym and the tepid coffee in the lobby. Despite this the comfortable bed and location are enough to keep me returning.

Beautiful hotel. Smells brand new. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The restaurant and bar were top notch. Delicious food (the pasta was so fresh) and one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Our room was super spacious and well stocked with anything we could have wanted. The gym was also beautiful and had so many available workout options. If we are ever back in New Haven we would definitely choose The Blake.
