The staff were professional and friendly. The room and environment is charming. The breakfast was just ok, we decided to go out for breakfast both mornings. The breakfast area is clean and has a good view of the pool.

Wedmore is a wonderful place to stay and enhanced our visit to Williamsburg with its historic charm. Clean, comfortable beds, very quiet, lovely view of the woods outside our window made for a memorable stay. The staff is amazing, helpful, warm and welcoming. The breakfast is described as continental but is much more. Quiche, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt and more, served on china with coffee being served to you at your table. The wine tasting that was included really added to our stay. I would absolutely stay again if in the area.

If you’d like a nice, quiet stay away from home, this is an excellent place. The rooms are very unique and very clean. All of the staff are very friendly. This hotel is right next-door to the winery and a wonderful restaurant. The restaurant on site has the best hamburger ever! The only thing I would change about this place is to have a small refrigerator in the room, other than that it’s perfect! My husband and I have stayed two times, and plan to go again!

Loved the atmosphere of the whole place and room and liked how cozy it felt. The staff was awesome and breakfast was great. The room was a little dark, our air would not cool below 70 but the bathroom was amazing Had great light for hair and makeup and had a big magnifying makeup mirror. The Inn was easy to get to from anywhere in Williamsburg. Loved the drive up to the Inn, very quaint.

The online photo is completely misleading. It’s all gravel. We were on the first floor and could hear everything above us. Our room had water stains on ceiling. Vents were painted white but the green walls were never repainted where white got on it. Furniture was very old and marked up. The bathroom was a joke. Two narrow mirrors hung in a corner over a tiny corner sink. Shower was slippery. Bed comfortable but every move springs screeched. Property is a beautiful winery and lovely restaurant.

This was an awesome place to visit. The winery, the on site restaurant made our trip exceptional. We were only 10 minutes from Williamsburg and all the great spots to visit there. Definitely push the button if you're on the fence!

Amazing location, wonderful people. We would live in the library if we could. Rooms are interesting with their themes, breakfast was top notch, pool was clean and inviting. Access to great cycling trails and they have a bike garage!! We will be back.
