Beautiful property, great staff. We booked 4 nights but decided to depart a night early. Unfortunately our first night was not great - due to ‘event noise’ which probably could have been avoided with a more thoughtful room assignment. Not exactly the atmosphere I was expecting when booking this resort, had to call security 3x between 2am & 3:30am. Fortunately the management team was gracious & generous to extend a resolution for the inconvenience however my husband & I work hard & relaxing time alone doesn’t have a price for us. The food/dining was good! Far superior to other resorts in the area! However, limited options if you are planning on spending more than a few nights here! I would suggest training the restaurant staff on the menu - we had a few excellent servers & then a few who had absolutely no clue on the menu, availability or preparation - the confusion was beyond a language barrier. Overall, I do not think I would return to this Auberge property - Chileno Bay in Cabo is the better option!

Property is beautiful and conveniently laid out. The rooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. Great gym. Would have liked more dining options and pricing is somewhat excessive especially for food and drinks at the pool. Definitely recommend Casa Abuela. The staff was super efficient and could not have been nicer.

This resort is of the highest quality. Every staff member was truly amazing. The level of service and attention we received was unmatched and the hotel and property are beautiful. I would like to personally thank Álvaro, who was our concierge and made sure our trip was perfect. He is a gentleman and takes a lot of pride in the hotel and the exceptional service it provides. Everything we had hoped for all around! Above all, every single person we met who work at Etereo are beyond kind and thoughtful and went above and beyond to make us feel so genuinely taken care of. We left feeling like we made new friends that we would love to see again. The restaurants, pools, our room and especially SANA (spa) were simply perfect and we experienced beautiful and spiritual experiences while there that we will never forget.

There are not enough words for how much we enjoyed our stay. Every minute of our time at the resort was beyond expectations - from the unforgettable room and view, the highest quality customer service from every staff member we encountered, to the phenomenal food… especially at Itzam. We will always compare future “relaxing” vacations to this one and we have genuine plans to return one day - which is not a common thing we do since we enjoy staying in different places. We are telling all our family and friends to make an effort to visit!

The property was incredible great staff, great location brand new, almost perfect, the butler, Alvaro was the best I’ve had at any resort. the food was incredible the primary downside was the lack of dining options , it was the same dinner menu every night. They did offer the option of customized dinners which we took advantage for Mexican taco dinner that was fabulous. First day we noted many sand fleas. They were everywhere. They provided eco-friendly bug spray was not effective against them . Less prevalent in the days that followed yet they were there and all of us ended up with multiple bites. Recommend taking your own Deepwoods off or something to protect yourself against these fleas. The beach lounging options were incredible. Each weight service was good but could’ve been much more attentive. Overall probably the best resort we have stayed at in the Cancun/Playa area.

Underwhelming

I was completely underwhelmed with the hotel overall. The room was perfection, no complaints. The design of the hotel was beautiful - the property, decor, etc. However, the beach was terrible. It was tiny, the water was not crystal clear, not sure what it was as there was not a ton of seaweed visible. The sand was mostly hard, not the powder soft white beaches which are everywhere else in the area. I have stayed at every hotel in mayakoba, and I was very excited to try something new, but it was just a disappointment at this price point. The property is small and there are very few options for food. I am always a beach person, never hang out by the pool, but the food and beverage options (and prices, so weird!) were better at the pool. I ordered a $25 pina colada by the beach that was horrible... bad enough that I genuinely think it was an accident. I did not want to complain, so I just moved on and did not finish it. Service was ok, nothing special like at the rosewood or even fairmont hotels. Stunning design, but lacking in a lot of areas. It's new, so I hope they can improve.

De los mejores hoteles que he ido, viajamos mucho nos gusta mucho four seasons, st Regis, pero nunca nos habíamos quedado en un auberge! Y etéreo superó nuestras expectativas. Sobre todo por la atención de todos. Queremos felicitar a Itzel nos hizo sentir en casa consintió mucho a mis hijos, súper detallistas. Pase mi cumple ahí y me sentí suero querida me felicitó cada persona del hotel. La clase de cocina con el chef Delfino una de las mejores experiencias que hemos tenido en familia. Fuimos a hacer snorkel al arrecife que era enfrente del hotel, José muy amable. El spa una delicia. La primera noche estaba un poco lenta la cocina y no lo dejaron pasar luis barba y todo su staff en los restaurantes merecen una felicitación. La comida deliciosa.
