This is a spectacular hotel and somewhere to truly unwind. If you have transport or are happy paying around 400bht for a grab taxi each way then the remote location isn't a problem. On site spa and restaurant are very expensive for the quality, which isn't bad, however if you travel to any spa or restaurant the quality of the service and food is always incredible and costs significantly less.
We had a pool villa for two weeks and it was unbelievably beautiful, the staff are generally so helpful and polite and the sanctuary pool is by far the nicest pool I've ever been in, so peaceful.
I would 100% return here, we rented a scooter and travelled all over the island but enjoyed returning to a peaceful piece of paradise. Thank you Melati

What a wonderful hotel: nice, I mean really nice people, great pool villa, fantastic food!
Room was lovely and staff were very friendly. Kevin was very nice and organised a lovely table for us on the beach for the BBQ night and was very kind and friendly to our kids. Kaji at reception was also very friendly. The buffet breakfast was perfect.

Loved the pools the beach the staff the room, more like a condo
Staff were extremely welcoming and always helpful. The hotel was perfectly located off the main area but near enough to get taxis to go out for dinner or to the sights. We had a wonderful stay 😊
While the resort was in a remote area of the island it is an ideal place to spend a couple of days to spend a restful vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way. More than similar resorts of hotels in other parts of the world.
Beautiful property! Excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner, lunch, drinks...
The staff is absolutely wonderful! May at the Spa is amazing. I highly recommend this property, and the spa is a must.
This resort was quiet, beautiful and the staff were as helpful as they could be, since their English wasn’t always the best. My only complaint is the trash on the beach.
Wonderful, All was so good. Only issue was to go to Fisherman and Chaweng (too expensive for Thailand).

The best thing about the hotel is the beach. Apart from that it is very dated with not enough staff. But the staff were very good and polite and very friendly.
Really amazing staff, very friendly. Took care of our rooms with fogging for any bugs. Very clean place but beautiful grounds. Lovely beach connected to the hotel. Lovely pool. A great staff and the staff make it really special. Fond memories at Melati
Isolated in the north easth corner, far from the busy beaches and villages,
situated on private beautiful beach.
Excellent service, reach and very good breakfast. The rooms are wide and big, the whole hotel is like a small village, beautiful gardens and swimming pools.
It is not a new hotel, and it do need some maintenance, and a little more care around the main swimming pool.

We stayed in this resort qAlthough the resort and our room was beautiful, but it didn’t come easy because when we checked in for the first
This is a nice hotel. The main draw is the sizeable pool and the beach and the staff are very helpful. We didn’t have any problem with Mosquitos, at all. The comments in previous reviews about the breakfast…really? Coffee, fruit, juices, eggs however you like. It’s really good, even multiple
Gluten free options. The location is quiet but easy short drive to Fisherman’s Village, where we ate most nights. It is an older property but this doesn’t detract at all due to the polite helpful nature of staff. We would stay again if we were lucky enough to come to Koh Samui.

Place makes you feel trapped as the main road is far away. Hardly any Thai people working there which was surprising but not a bad thing. Pool view is very nice but not clean when I looked at it.
Staff was very friendly, very warm and welcoming. Beautiful facility, pool was amazing, restaurant was delicious, esp the Thai one. Breakfast had a lot of options but same things every day, could have improved there a bit. It’s good for visitors who want to stay and enjoy the resort. Kids club was good, my 6 yr old enjoyed it a lot. If you are more of a party place person or family, you ll have to go to Chaweng-Choeng which is 400 bht one way. Hotel provides courtesy shuttle twice a day.
