Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Location was great, close to general sherman tree with a convenient shuttle service. Maintenance of property could be improved. Pizza service of restaurant really helps. Nice trail and stargazing activity in the back parking lot.
terrific location right in the park. It's one of the few places where the guided tour I wanted would pick up and drop off, no need to try and find a parking space.
the vegetable curry for dinner was wonderful. I happened to sit next to a couple in the airport who had stayed there and they also raved about the curry.

The room was clean but contained old equipment. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The food at Peaks restaurant was decent, conveniently located, and offered at a very reasonable price.
the breakfast was delicious. The staff was especially nice, Holly (the staff) was really welcoming and was really patient with us. Food was good and the rooms were really clean and cozy with a decent view of the moutain.
great location, peaceful and quiet. Main lodge restaurant and amenities are a short, beautiful walk away. Its rare to have such a great lodge in a place like this!
The breakfast/dinner was very good. Staffs are nice and the room is clean. Love the location. Will definitely revisit next time when we visit Sequoia National Park
We did not have breakfast on the site, but the room is clean, roomy, have microwave, plenty of towel, quiet and serene outlook, the bed is clean and soft to sleep in.
This is a great spot to stay at if you are visiting Sequoia National Park. Three Rivers is nice but nearly an hour away on a very winding road. We loved that we could access the whole park very easily from the Lodge. The people, the food and the room were solid. Great bar, great location. What more could you ask for in a National Park.
We loved it! It is worth it to stay as the drive up or down is about an hour one way. The food is better than other parks we’ve stayed. And the rooms are as well.
The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The setting was rustic and charming. All the must do activities were in close driving distance. The dinner menu was simple. We chose the burger and grilled chicken burger. They were both delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly.
There was no air conditioning in the room, but there was a ceiling fan. The water in the bathroom ran a pale brownish color. We had to shower with it and it was unpleasant.

It’s a dated hotel, beds are not comfortable and walls are thin so you could hear your neighbors. Great location though to beat the crowds with an early morning hike. Location is the main reason we booked this hotel.
What a Great Place to stay when visiting Sequoia National Park . Logs is in the Park so very little driving to hit all the Great trails and sites . Food is good for where you are and location and background are wonderful. They have a trial head right at the back of the lodge that makes for great and sometimes testy trail if take all the way to Lodgepole and back . We will return next spring .
