The shower alternated between very hot and very cold, there was no WiFi information in the room, and the heater wouldnā€™t turn on (couldā€™ve been user error I suppose). It is above a pub so it is quite noisy, and there was live music as well which made it a bit more noisy than expected to no oneā€™s fault. If you want to eat at this pub on the nights you stay be sure to book a reservation as it was full and we had to eat elsewhere. The Crown and Trumpet is a good old fashioned English pub set in the beautifully presented Cotswold village of Broadway. It was refreshing to see it representing an authenticity that is very much lacking in an admittedly highly attractive town that in its present day version represents Chelsea in the Cotswolds more than an historic old town. The staff at the inn are super friendly and efficient and go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Meals are reasonably priced and the portions represent good value, certainly compared to other ā€œmore prestigiousā€ places in the High Street. Of course, you donā€™t get the luxury offered in other establishments but you get value for money and a quaint quirkiness that provides an authentic and genuine feeling. One thing to be aware of is that there is no onsite parking but there are long and short stay car parks close by that are free between 6pm and 8am.
