Armandito curated the bar with intention and soul—only local Mexican spirits, honoring the region’s flavors and traditions. From fresh, local breakfast options (and GF if that’s your thing) to the most flavorful ceviche and aguachile. Don’t forget to try the fish with the yucca puree for dinner. I stayed four nights and they were some of the most relaxing I have had in years. The location is close to the hotel zone but tucked away on a beautiful private waterfront property. Other than the sounds of waves on the beach and the birds in the morning, it is quiet and so peaceful. The grounds around the rooms are thoughtfully laid out with an intimate but open design. The rooms are elegant with a luxurious but authentic feel. The food is possibly the best in all Tulum. The Tuna Tostada is my favorite. Fresh with incredible flavor profiles, there's nothing I had that I didn't love and I'm pretty picky. The staff and management are incredibly kind and helpful. All in all, it was just what I needed. The star rating of this place should one not four as listed as well. No AC in the room even with the door open it’s impossible to sleep (humidity is pretty high in November), uncomfortable humid pillows and old washed off towels, cigarettes and marijuana smell, generator provided electricity but not enough to use a blow dryer or charge phones. Someone made a decision to do a movie night until 11pm, the sound was so loud it felt like the speakers literally were inside the room. We stayed one night only of the initial four booked, moved to a real hotel for the rest of our stay. An experience for sure. This is what a beach getaway should be. Incomparable views, beautiful private beach for miles, this is where you go relax, enjoy the ocean in their beach beds and cabannas, while you eat the most amazing, delicious , cooked in the moment food, and drink delicious cocktails! The staff is small, super friendly and personalized ( thank you to the host, owner, and bartender) they truly make you feel like youre hanging out with friends! The rooms are minimalistic yet cozy, gorgeous design, and the views are like no other, even the jungle views are beatiful and steps away from the ocean, we had the beach front room ( Highly recommend) you sleep with the beautiful breeze and sounds of the waves 3 steps away! As far as housekeeping our room was kept super clean at all times, and the property is very well kept, we witnessed them cleaning every night! Safety is great, its locked up and in a very safe, secluded spot inside a natural reserve! I would feel completely safe traveling here alone. It is on the pricier side if you are a drinker, but the food is honestly AMAZING!!! This place is truly a little piece of paradise! Book it, you will thank yourself you did.
