We had a girls staycation trip to this property for the Labor Day holiday weekend. We enjoyed our time together, but there was one particular staff member who made it difficult to get good service. When we got to our room and found a light bulb was out in our bedroom area. We were told that maintenance was gone for the day and we couldn’t get a replacement bulb. After constant back-and-forth with the desk staff person we were finally able to get a lightbulb. When we asked for additional towels as there were four of us in the room and only three sets of towels, we were met with rudeness. Our request to have the lights turned on at the indoor pool area were dismissed and given the reply that the lights in the pool would give enough light to use it that evening. When asked how can we turn on the fire pit outside we were again met with we’re not sure how to turn it on only to find out the next day that it actually was not working. Breakfast was good and the selections were good. The desk staff the following day were much more responsive and helpful than our first night which helped make our experience better. We also appreciated the manager’s apology about our service experience the 1st night and based on that conversation we will return for a stay in the future.

We had a nice easy drive to/from Pine Knob for a concert. Nice to sit outside by the fire and enjoyed the room very much. Only complaint was we had no shower curtain but other then that is was perfect!

One of the Best Places I've Ever Stayed

The staff was ever available and helpful and friendly. Ready to do whatever they could to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast was very tasty with much to choose from. The room was very clean and comfortable. VERY comfortable bed. Can't recommend highly enough. No complaints.
