Wonderful stay! The location is fantastic-just a short walk to both downtown Carmel and the beach. We stayed in the 900 sq.ft. family suite which was extremely convenient,featuring a full fridge, induction cooktop,and kitchenware, plus a lovely balcony to watch the sunset. While the property has some vintage charm,it is exceptionally clean. The staff were also wonderfully warm and welcoming. Highly recomended!!

This hotel is definitely older but I found it so charming! Truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is short walking distance to all shops and restaurants ( within 10 minutes), walking to beach 15 minutes, room has coffee maker, couple of wine glasses in case you want to enjoy wine that you purchase, a mini fridge. Staff was so kind, grounds were clean, I didn’t go to the continental breakfast offered but it looked good. I loved my stay, will return in the future, highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Hofsas House in Carmel with my mom, sister, and our Frenchie. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was spacious, very clean, and even included a convenient small kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch, and the staff thoughtfully provided fans to keep us comfortable on a warm day. Parking was easy and free along the street. We truly appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the hotel was. It was the perfect place for our girls’ getaway!

The hotel is charmingly European. But everything shows age, furniture, furnishings, lamps, bathroom, bedspread. The WiFi is spotty, which gave me the much needed break to go unplugged for a few days. The room has a small fridge, coffee machine and a powerful hair dryer. Its heated pool is a nice touch. They offer continental breakfast, but we never got up in time for it. Location is fantastic, walking distance to lots of great restaurants, bars, art galleries and shops. Overall, everything is just about right for its price point, if not slightly above expectations. I look forward to coming back again.

The property is close to downtown and Carmel beach. Everything walkable. You have to use many stairs to get to your room and it is difficult to get the luggage to your room. The room we stayed was very small and outdated. We are two retirees and never spent a night in such a old building

downtown Carmel and the beach were within walking distance. Easy to find, and convenient location if you needed to drive. Breakfast wasn"t much. We found a market a few blocks away to help supplement the breakfast.
