Incredible location - hotel and cabins are nice - food options very limited and staff seemed unaware of the lack of options and need to make reservation before you arrive to eat close by
Staying here felt like a step back in time. Gorgeous property that was rich in history and not very crowded or commercial. The views were stunning and the dining room was the best in the park. I wish I had stayed more than one night!
Beautiful interior, and matched the historical parts. The hotel was busy and felt like a cafeteria in ways. Food and stay were expensive for what we got. The grounds other than the lake were not impressive and looked sort of junky. Staff was very friendly.
Overall there is no issue with our stay. Service is generally good. Room availability is poor and price is high which is understandable for being inside of a national park.
Amazingly located right on Lake Yellowstone with spectacular views. The staff was very helpful. Make sure you make dinner reservations in advance since they are pretty busy. There is a diner near by in the Fishing Bridge store which is a good alternative for food, but they close at 6pm. Rooms are very comfortable, but remember it is a 135 year old hotel and there is no TV or WiFi, so come ready to disconnect.
Nice historic hotel with awesome views of the lake.
EV chargers are available but are a major challenge to access, a staff member will need to escort you. No wifi was officially available during our stay which is also pretty wild for that price range.
The hotel was beautiful, well taken care of, and the rooms were clean. It was nice staying within the park, and there was a bison outside our window. Something we did not realize beforehand is there is not wifi throughout the hotel which was mildly inconvenient. We went to the hotel restaurant during our stay, and the food and service was incredible! Would recommend making a reservation in advance though, otherwise you have to make a reservation when you ask at the restaurant and we had to wait about 1.5 hours. It was worth the wait though. Would definitely stay here again!
The place needs for many reasons Wi-Fi and a small fridge in the room. The restaurant can’t run out of Ribeye at 7:45 PM with such a small menu. Everything else was great. Thks
The Expedia post stated there was WiFi and there was none available which was disappointing and caused stress as we could not reach family and work.
The lobby and restaurant were very nice, but overall did not turn out to be the great experience we expected given the rates.
Rented a lodge, within walk distance of hotel for dinner. Dinner was very elegant. Even with a casual dress code. It doesn’t hurt to dress to impress a little(khakis & button up shirt). Had 3 course meal & shared a bottle of wine with siblings I dined with. Water seems to been the only standard drink available, quite healthy. Plates were well partitioned. You will leave satisfied but not stuffed. All-n-all dinner took about 1.5 hours. Consider that when reserving a table
The hotel and lobby areas are “old” in that historic hotel type of feel. We pulled into registration, walked in the lobby and were so happy for our choice to stay here. We ended up in the “annex hotel” which was a separate building around back. The room was nice, spacious however no TVs and no WiFi for this property. There was some service and areas you could go to get better service. The surrounding areas and fishing village were great. Highly recommend for those wanting off the beaten on the east side of the park path and closer to better potential wildlife areas. The restaurant had a great menu, and the food was fine. Would eat there again if given the choice, just not overly impressed. The lake view is amazing and the hotel parking lots have bison and elk running around. We also got a great coyote encounter.

The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. The room was not cleaned properly and has dust layer on the tables and night stands. after we had used coffee packets on the first morning, no replacements were placed. The ice bucket was not cleaned. a bath mat towel was not provided for the second day. Overall, housekeeping needs significant improvement.
This is a gorgeous place to stay and the views are phenomenal! The restaurant was great too. I highly recommend staying here.

The setting was lovely but overall the hotel was a bit worn. The cabins were very basic and needed a good clean in the corners not just in the obvious places. The hotel has no wifi and no service and this should have been clearly advertised before booking. It wasn’t a huge issue to us but it would be important to know before booking for many people. The hotel also doesn’t make up for no wifi by providing other entertainment like TVs in the rooms (for when you want to relax for a little while after a day in the park), and no games like board games, pool, ping pong or cards were available. The bar also has a 4 drink limit which when there isn’t anything else to do but drink you can’t even really do that. The hotel does provide a good stop off location within the park but we wouldn’t have stayed more than 1 night considering the above factors. Guy in the dining room was an excellent host however for both our delicious dinner and good breakfast.
