Excellent Stay – Clean, Updated Rooms and Wonderful Staff! We had a great experience at TownePlace Suites by Marriott! The room was modern, updated, spacious, and, most importantly, very clean. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable, making for a really enjoyable stay. The staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It's always refreshing to stay somewhere that takes pride in both its property and customer service. The location near the airport is also a huge plus, making it convenient for travelers. Overall, a great hotel with comfortable accommodations, excellent staff, and a convenient location. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay!

Very nice area walking distance to the water. Rooms were clean and big. Downfall was the breakfast. Lots to choose but it was empty and took too long to refill. First day I went 7am when they opened. And food was not put out til 7:25. 2nd day came back at 8:45 breakfast is over at 9:00 and they were not refilling anything. So I guess. Wait til 8:00 to eat breakfast.

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in San Diego, and TownePlace was the perfect choice for us. We loved the decor in the spacious lobby area, and the staff was extremely helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable. I was surprised that our room had a large refrigerator and kitchenette, complete with plates and utensils. This turned out to be really useful, as I had brought a little food along to accommodate my diet. The first night of our stay, there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night which turned out to be a false alarm apparently. I only mention the incident because there was no way anyone could sleep through that alarm sound, so you can be assured of that. We also really enjoyed using the pool to cool off, and the breakfast buffet was also pretty good. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we look forward to choosing this hotel again next time we come down to San Diego to visit the zoo!

The location was clean and had good amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was great, just a bit overpriced. I wish they used real eggs and not powder/ boxed eggs at breakfast. All in all, not perfect but a good stay and we would return.

Comfortable hotel with good breakfast and very nice staff. I stayed for a week to convalesce after a hospital stay and it worked out well. It was a peaceful hotel and always someone to help me if I needed it.
